How user generated content can help ad conversion

Content strategy, Digital strategy, , Marketing, Paid Social,

Hello! My name is Annette and if you don’t know me already I am an Advertising Strategy Manager, and I bring lots of organic SEO experience and ads experience to build strategies that are going to bring you more traffic and also reduce your costs.

Today I’m going to be talking about how I’ve worked with a couple of service based businesses,  so these are people like beauty therapists or fitness consultants, or sales coaches, business coaches, confidence coaches, anybody really that needs to bring bookings into the business.

And that’s the kind of business that I’m talking about today and I have been congratulated by Facebook, which is rather nice, as they told me that my campaign has earned a cost per click, which was seven pence per click, which is lower than 80% of other ad sets in the same sort of industry and how we created that, the customer and I together, was we produced some user generated content.

What is user generated content?

Now, if you don’t know what that is already, it is content that is produced by unpaid contributors, so usually your followers or your existing customers who are happy to leave you a review or talk about the product or service. and the reason why that …. works so well is because … it’s very relatable.

Why should I use UGC in adverts?

Usually the customer that’s giving the review is your ideal client. It’s the kind of person that you want to sell to again and, they’re normally, you know what I mean, they don’t look like supermodels,  they don’t look like, you know, unbelievable paid influencer sort of ads. They look like somebody who might buy from the business just like you might buy from the business.

they look like somebody who might buy from the business just like you

And so therefore they’re much more relatable, much more believable. and in actual fact, you know, the statistics say that people will read a review before they’ll buy from you in 90% of circumstances,  and 88% of people actually say that they trust an online review as much as they trust a review from somebody that they know already.

The effect of reviews on sales

So reviews are really, really important in terms of building your business and getting people to buy from you. There are lots of clever ways to encourage people to give you a review on your business, and certainly if you want some ideas for how you might generate that kind of content, then I would be happy to talk to you.

It’s the kind of thing that I do. and as I said, I worked with all sorts of businesses on creating a strategy that grows their traffic and reduces their costs and I use my organic SEO and my advertising experience to build those kinds of strategies. So if you’re interested in getting this kind of help, I’d be more than happy to help. Say hello

Thanks for reading. Bye bye.
