WHAT THEY NEEDED
The Tick Borne Disease Clinic works with patients in the UK who need diagnosis and treatment for Lyme Disease. They needed help with their website which was underperforming in terms of leads.
When they approached me they had inconsistent leads, mostly from word of mouth and needed consistent enquiries to fill the clinician’s calendars.
Their website had been done in Wix and it was performing badly in terms of search engine ranking. They had not done any keyword research.
The administrator had a clear idea of what they needed and had technical skills, so they requested a technical SEO audit and SEO training for the admin, so that she could provide ongoing SEO.

Tech audit
I ran a tech audit and identified significant issues with the Wix website, so we made the decision to replace it.
WordPress website
We replaced the Wix website with a basic WordPress website that was easier for the admin user to add content and pages to.
SEO training
I delivered training in phases so that the admin could get used to the main concepts (keyword research, content creation, on-page optimisation, backlink building, etc) and be supported while she implemented the SEO strategy.
Results
Within the first month, the website started receiving a volume of enquiries that has continued since. The clinic now has a regular flow of inbound leads from potential patients that have searched for treatments and found the clinic.
